Dr Opeyemi A. Oyekan

Dr. Opeyemi Aderonke Oyekan is an educationist, researcher, trainer, and educational planner and administrator, with expertise in educational planning, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation, research, and capacity development. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Management (Systems Administration), two M.Ed. degrees in Educational Management (Institutional Administration) and Educational Measurement and Evaluation, and a B.Ed. in Educational Management/Economics. She is an Assistant Chief Training and Research Fellow at the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo, where she has served since 2013. Over the years, she has held various leadership and professional positions and has contributed significantly to education-sector planning, research, training, and capacity development. Dr. Oyekan is a published researcher and author of Shaping Tomorrow’s Schools: Strategies for Educational Planning and Administration (2026). She is a member of several professional bodies and a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA). She is passionate about strengthening education systems through effective leadership, evidence-based planning, research, innovation, and human capacity development.
